Clare Island Living Lab

Meet me on Clare Island

Clare Island Living Lab is a social enterprise serving community, business,
service, research, and public sectors. The Living Lab opened in January 2021,
with a co-working space, boasting ten hot desks, free high-speed broadband,
high spec seating, lighting, and heating.

In April 2022, individual office space, a conference room, virtual classroom,
and virtual health consultancy room will be added.

The Clare Island Living Lab is working together with the HSE, CISCO and NUIG
on a national pilot project in virtual health for rural and island
communities.

Situated at the mouth of Clew Bay, and lying five kilometres off the Mayo
coastline, the Living Lab is remote working at its finest.
