About the Hub

Our BCP Digital Hub is hosted in the Killoscully Community Centre, which was
built in 1876. This building was originally the local village school, It was
converted to a Community Hall in 1971. The building was refurbished in 2010
with assistance from North Tipperary Leader Partnership and is now wheelchair
accessible.

The Main Hall (54 Sq mtr) is now opened up for community use as a remote
working hub. We have divided the main hall into 4 work zones providing seating
desks and partitions. The Kitchen area can also be used as a work space.

The hall is in use most evenings and weekends hosting an array of classes such
as drama, crafts, music, Dancing, Irish language, historical society, Yoga,
mindfulness, social dancing etc. Killoscully village is nestled in the
foothills of Keeper hill, the highest point in the Silvermine Mountains which
is 694 meters above sea level. Adjacent to the village are multiple looped
walks - restored mass paths and heritage walks.

We are approx 15 Minutes drive from Nenagh and Bird Hill and approx 10 Minutes
from Newport Tipperary
